Vision to start Churchfields consultations

Salisbury Vision is to start a comprehensive consultation process with businesses on the future of Churchfields Industrial Estate.

Members of the vision team are offering to meet with each business and landowner to understand their views on emerging redevelopment proposals to regenerate the Churchfields Estate. Issues, which need to be tackled, include the significant problems of traffic congestion, accessibility (particularly HGV movements), parking and the general incompatibility of the many different business activities which take place.

The aim is to redevelop Churchfields into a site that includes business and residential uses as well as incorporating other useful facilities.

Proposals remain at an early stage and there are no immediate plans to relocate businesses or start works on the estate. Salisbury Vision, which is made up of a partnership of local authorities, local organisations and business groups, is fully committed to working with the business community, landowners and local residents to help develop the scheme.
