As recorded in the minutes of the meeting, the funding for the Vision has derived from a variety of sources. In its initial stages there was funding from Wiltshire County Council, Salisbury District Council and the South West Regional Development Agency.
Since the establishment of Wiltshire Council as a Unitary Authority the principal funding for the activities of the Vision have come from Wiltshire Council. However there has been some funding secured from the Homes and Communities Agency.
Funding decisions made by Wiltshire Council are a matter of public record. These decisions were recommended to Council by Cabinet and overseen by the Joint Overview & Scrutiny Select Committee. Agenda, reports and minutes of these meetings are available on Wiltshire Council's website.
